Canvas Church has partnered with Compassion International for several years and has had the opportunity to sponsor over 1300 children in Ecuador! On March 5-11, 2025, we will have a new opportunity to visit Ecuador! That’s right, we will team with Compassion International to organize a trip to Ecuador to meet some of these kids, serve their families, and visit Compassion centers. If you want to go on this trip to Ecuador, you can sign up with a $350 deposit to hold your spot. The cost of the trip is $3500-3700/ person. Canvas Church has teamed with Compassion International to sponsor kids in Ecuador.

We are helping release kids from poverty in Jesus’ name. Through our partnership we are helping with the spiritual, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of the these kids.

Together, Canvas and Compassion will:

Raise local awareness of global issues. Is our community of faith aware of the problems that plague much of the world—human trafficking, water and mosquito-born illness, natural disasters, lack of clean drinking water? Canvas and Compassion team together to offer long-term solutions to these difficult situations.
Connect our church family to the developing world through missions. Compassion provides an effective onramp to developing a heart for missions among those in our church.
Present an opportunity to follow Christ’s example of compassion by using child sponsorship. We want our community of faith to understand God’s directive to care for the poor. Canvas teams with Compassion who helps provide the toolkit to accomplish this goal effectively.
