THINK, DISCUSS, LIVE: These questions are great for personal reflection, group discussion, or both. They’re meant to help you grow in your faith, deepen your connection with your Jesus friends, and live it out in the world around you. 

1. If heaven includes meaningful work (Genesis 1–2; Revelation 22), what kind of work do you hope you get to do? What kind of work are you hoping is definitely gone forever?

2. Revelation 19:6–9, which describes the marriage supper of the Lamb—a celebration between Christ and His people. Just for fun, what’s one food you hope is on the table? What food will we not see in heaven? 

3. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says God has planted eternity in our hearts. Even when heaven isn’t on our minds, do you ever feel that quiet longing for more than this world can offer? When have you noticed it most clearly?

4. Genesis 1:26-31 describes all of creation as “very good” in God’s presence. When you picture the Garden of Eden, what kind of life and relationships do you think God originally designed for humanity?

5. Paul says we ‘groan’ as we wait for new bodies. Where do you feel tired right now—physically, emotionally, or spiritually? What kind of renewal are you hoping for?

6. What are you most excited about when you think of your new body? What age do you think your new body will be?

7. When you think about heaven, what images or assumptions come to mind first? How do those compare with the biblical picture of heaven as God’s dwelling place and a restored perfect creation? (See Revelation 21–22)

8. Jesus speaks often about reward, inheritance, and treasure in heaven (Matthew 6; Romans 8:17). How does knowing that your faithfulness has eternal value impact the way you live your life? 

9. How are you investing in your heavenly reward? Who are you loving well, how are you worshiping God with your life, and how are you giving toward the advancement of His kingdom? (See Matthew 25:42–46.) What’s one area you sense God inviting you to grow?

1. Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come… on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). What would it look like for you to live this week with heaven in mind—living with hope, purpose, and confidence that God is near? How might that shape the way you interact with your Jesus friends and your lost friends?

2. As you’ve listened to the messages about the unseen realm, what stood out to you the most? Are there any parts that still feel confusing or hard to understand?

PRAYER OPTIONS: Practice praying out loud to grow and stretch your faith. Extra Credit: Try praying out loud with the people who love you and feel safe.

• Prayer Partnership: What’s on your heart that we can partner with you and bring it to the Lord? 

• Read and put into practice James 5:13-16. Pray for the sick, praise Him for everything, confess  your sins, pray for physical, spiritual and emotional healing. 

• 1 & 1:  One thing to celebrate, one thing to bring to God.

• Praise Sentences: Short prayers thanking God, then pray for shared needs.

• Prayer Clusters: Groups of 2–3, share requests, pray together, and encourage each other during the week.
