THINK, DISCUSS, LIVE: These questions are great for personal reflection, group discussion, or both. They’re meant to help you grow in your faith, deepen your connection with your Jesus friends, and live it out in the world around you.

  1. Which of these fears affects you the most: spiders, snakes, public speaking, rejection, sharing your faith, or something else? How has that fear affected your actions or decisions?

  2. Read John 20:21. What do you think Jesus meant when He said He was sending His followers? How does that apply to you today?

  3. Read Acts 9:10 How easy or difficult is it for you to say “Yes, Lord” before you know what God is asking you to do? Why?

  4. Read Acts 9:11–12 Have you ever felt God prompting you to encourage, help, or talk to someone? What happened?

  5. Read Acts 9:13–14 What excuses might keep someone from praying, “Send me”? Which one do you struggle with most?

  6. Read Acts 9:15. Have you ever written someone off as “too far gone” for God to change? What does Saul’s story teach us about God’s grace and power?

  7. Read Acts 9:17–18. How did Ananias’ act of obedience make a huge impact on the kingdom of God? Can you think of a time when someone’s obedience affected and impacted your life?

  8. Read Romans 10:13–15. Who is someone in your life who needs to hear about Jesus? What keeps you from talking to them about your faith?

  9. Read Romans 10:15 and Matthew 9:37–38. If you sincerely prayed, “Send me,” where do you think God might be sending you this week—your home, workplace, neighborhood, school, a mission field, or somewhere else?

  10. As you pray, “Lord, send me,” what is one specific act of obedience God is calling you to take this week? How can this group pray for you to boldly say, “Yes, Lord”?

“FILL ME” PRAYER: Think back to last week’s challenge to pray, “Fill me.” What has the Holy Spirit revealed to you through Scripture, conviction, encouragement, or guidance? How have you seen Him working in your life since praying that prayer?

This week, pray, “LORD, SEND ME.” Ask God to open your eyes to the people He places in your path, and take the opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus.

PRAYER OPTIONS: Practice praying out loud to grow your faith—even if it feels uncomfortable. Try it with people you trust and feel safe with.

  • Share one thing you are thankful for (a praise) and one thing you need prayer for (a request). Then pray together for each other’s requests.

  • Prayer Partnership: What’s on your heart that we can partner with you and bring it to the Lord?

  • Read and put into practice James 5:13-16. Pray for the sick, praise Him for everything, confess  your sins, pray for physical, spiritual and emotional healing.

  • Praise Sentences: Short prayers thanking God, then pray for shared needs.

  • Prayer Clusters: Groups of 2–3, share requests, pray together, and encourage each other during the week.
