THINK, DISCUSS, LIVE: These questions are great for personal reflection, group discussion, or both. They’re meant to help you grow in your faith, deepen your connection with your Jesus friends, and live it out in the world around you.

BIBLICAL PEACE is a deep, lasting wholeness that comes from being in right relationship with God and living rightly with others. It’s not just the absence of conflict, but the presence of harmony, restoration, and well-being—marked by love, truth, forgiveness, and a commitment to pursue unity and spiritual health in every relationship.

  1. Read Colossians 3:12. How does Paul describe who we are in this verse? Which part do you need to personally believe more, and which one is hardest for you to accept?

  2. What does it mean to “put on” kindness, humility, and patience like clothes? Which one is hardest for you to wear and why?

  3. Read Colossians 3:13. Why is it important to be patient with people’s faults and forgive those who hurt you? How should God’s forgiveness of you change the way you respond to others?

  4. Read Romans 12:13–18. Which command stands out to you the most? Why do you think it caught your attention? How do these commands help you in your relationships?

  5. What does it look like to “do all you can” to live in peace with others? What is one step you can take this week? Is there a specific person you’re thinking about?

  6. Read Ephesians 4:15. What does it mean to speak the truth in love? Why is that healthier than just keeping the peace?

  7. Look at 1 Peter 3:11 and Psalm 34:14. What does it mean to “search for peace and work to maintain it”? Why does peace take effort?

  8. Read Proverbs 17:9. How can holding onto an offense hurt a friendship? What happens when you choose to forgive instead?

  9. Read Proverbs 19:11. What does it mean to overlook an offense? When is it wise to let something go instead of reacting?

  10. What is the difference between a “peacekeeper” and a “peacemaker”? Which one do you find you are more like?

PRAYER OPTIONS: Practice praying out loud to grow your faith—even if it feels uncomfortable. Try it with people you trust and feel safe with.

  • Share one thing you are thankful for (a praise) and one thing you need prayer for (a request). Then pray together for each other’s requests.

  • Prayer Partnership: What’s on your heart that we can partner with you and bring it to the Lord?

  • Read and put into practice James 5:13-16. Pray for the sick, praise Him for everything, confess  your sins, pray for physical, spiritual and emotional healing.

  • Praise Sentences: Short prayers thanking God, then pray for shared needs.

  • Prayer Clusters: Groups of 2–3, share requests, pray together, and encourage each other during the week.
