Mikey joined the team as the Canvas College Director in November 2024. He is passionate about helping young adults discover their God-given gifts and live with purpose. Mikey holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Rocky Mountain College and will pursue his Master’s through Northwest University. Mikey and his wife Megan married in 2017, and they enjoy raising their kids, working with young adults, and loving those around them well. Mikey dreams of Canvas College becoming the leading hub in the region for individuals seeking to grow in practical knowledge and servant leadership, as well as the top choice for organizations to recruit talented difference makers.
Lorri has been part of the Canvas College team since its launch in 2017, serving as the Montana Regional Coordinator and Northwest University point person. In this role, she walks new students through the enrollment process, provides academic advising, coordinates internship tracks, and faithfully fields countless questions along the way. Lorri holds a B.S. in Journalism and Broadcast Communication from MSU Denver. Lorri and her husband, Chris, have been married for more than 25 years and enjoy traveling, boating, and spending time with their young adult kids.
Cassie is the Canvas College Administrative Assistant and Housing Director. She oversees student housing from leases and maintenance to fostering a healthy, connected residential community. In addition, she monitors grades, processes academic paperwork, and keeps the team calendar running smoothly. Cassie is pursuing a B.A. in Ministry Leadership and has been on staff at Canvas since 2024. She brings a heart for worship, a sharp eye for detail, and a steady commitment to keeping important things from slipping through the cracks.
Caleb serves as the Canvas College Experience Director, leading a team that plans events, service projects, and other experiences that help students build community and create lifelong memories. Caleb also develops and leads serve teams for summer and winter camps, youth conferences, and youth groups, creating opportunities for students to serve local churches while expanding the reach of Canvas College. He is pursuing a B.A. in Ministry Leadership and has been on staff at Canvas since 2024. Caleb brings humor, drive, and a genuine heart for students to the team.

Sawyer leads chapel and promotional efforts for Canvas College, helping plan and facilitate worship gatherings and events that represent Canvas well. He is a worship leader who also brings strong technical experience. Sawyer is pursuing a B.A. in Ministry Leadership and joined the Canvas staff in 2026 as part of the production team. He combines musical gifting, production skills, and steady leadership in the way he serves students and the Canvas College community.
Andi Heide leads the Canvas College Creative Internship.
The goal of the creative internship is to teach students the necessary skills to create videos, graphics, social media campaigns and photography. Creative media is a skill set that is in high demand in our current culture.
Andi leads the graphic design and social media team. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Montana State University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and has several years experience teaching graphic design.
Jaclyn Hooker leads the Worship Internship at Canvas, a program designed to cultivate a heart for worship first while developing the practical skills needed to lead others well.
Interns are immersed in a strong coaching culture that includes music and theory study, book studies, vocal and instrumental coaching, and hands-on ministry experience across Canvas, helping them grow musically and as confident, authentic worship leaders. At the core of the team is a desire to create spaces for heartfelt worship, always beginning with a deep love for Jesus.
As a mom of four, Jaclyn leads with encouragement, honest feedback, and a passion for mentoring and equipping the next generation of worship leaders. Canvas has been her home church since childhood, and she has served in worship ministry for nearly 20 years. She holds a B.A. in Music Ministry from Northwest University and has been on staff at Canvas since 2024.
Tiffany Galbraith leads the Kids’ Internship.
In the Kids internship, students will experience all aspects of children’s ministry, including public speaking, small groups, worship and working with volunteers. Interns will get opportunities to lead teams and be challenged. The Kids’ team is all about creating opportunities for kids and families to experience God in a life-changing way through creating a safe and FUN kids’ ministry!
Tiffany has been the Canvas Kids’ Pastor since 2020. She started at Canvas as part of the Youth team in 2018. Tiffany has a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Ministries with an emphasis in Children’s Ministry from Northwest University. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Arts in Leadership Studies through Northwest University.
Caleb Vander Griend leads the Youth Internship. Caleb started as a Canvas College Intern before he was hired at Canvas, so he understands exactly what kind of experience CC interns want and need.
The mission of the Canvas Youth Team is to create an environment where students can encounter God in a life-changing way. The goal of the Youth Internship is to understand the heart of everything that is done in youth ministry so that students feel seen, known – and what it looks like to live out their faith outside the walls of the church. This is demonstrated through games, worship, messages and small groups (at Canvas, we call them Crews).
Caleb has a B.A. in Ministry Leadership from Northwest University. Caleb has been working as the Canvas Kalispell Youth Pastor since 2021.
Becca Wentworth leads the First Impressions/Environments Internship.
This internship is a one semester internship that exists to give students hands-on experience in creating welcoming environments for people to experience God in a life-changing way. Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming space – including friendly faces and free coffee – where people feel comfortable. A positive experience from the parking lot to the lobby allows people to engage in worship and allow the Holy Spirit to work in their lives.
This role requires a gift for connecting with new people – and Becca is the definition of extrovert! Her love for people is evident in the way she intentionally finds new faces and families at Canvas. She has volunteered at many large churches in the Seattle area, all in the areas of greeting and first impressions. Becca has been on the Canvas team since 2021 and her heart is to make people feel seen, needed and known.
Alexis Starks leads the Production Internship. The Production internship gives hands-on technical experiences to create an engaging and immersive environment for people to experience God in a life-changing way. Alexis was hired soon after becoming a Canvas College student, so she has the knowledge and vision to provide an internship experience that will help students thrive.
Interns serve on every part of the production team, including running cameras and ProPresenter, mixing sound, and video switching. Interns encounter the heart and intentionality that goes into church production.
Alexis has a B.A. in Ministry Leadership through Northwest University and has been on staff at Canvas since 2023.
Phil Wilson leads the Connect Internship. The Connect Internship will show you the insight into the different ways a pastor loves, connects with, and walks with others throughout life.
This internship will provide hands-on training with practical application that will instill confidence in your ability to pastor someone in the moment no matter the venue. Jesus modeled care in every interaction, and we will look at how to help people feel needed and known in this internship.

ONE is the first internship for all Canvas College Experience students. The goals of the ONE Internship are to learn about Canvas culture and the “why” behind what we do. Learning experiences in this Fall semester internship range from an overview of the different internships at Canvas College to group trips to spiritual formation and basic life skills that will set students up for success.
